so ive been job hunting like a mofo all week this week, its been fucking nuts
but yeah its all worth it
after appplying to dozens of places i finally hit pay dirt.
AUNTIE ANNE'S of all places, but i like it. and you know what helped me..
me being asian the maneger of the AA was asian.. even worse he is flipp
so i was walking threw the mall and i walked by the AA and saw the forhire sign ask the maneger sign like behind the AA..
so i asked for an app, the chick working the check out was ok. when i asked for the app i said. are you still hiring and she asked the maneger and i saw him.. the Flipp.. ohhhh haha
yeah the guy reached under the counter for the app and the chick at the checkout was like.. i have that jacket.. i was like yeah ilike it.
so yeah he gave me the app and i filled it out at the food court or wherever i forget. came back and gave it to the maneger
later the next day iwas sleeping my dad wakes me and tells me that theres a call from AA, the manager called. he said that he could interview me tomorrow at like 5. after the call my dad bitches at me about some asian get a job bullshit.
i go back to sleep..
hmm next day i go back to the mall around 4.30
i go up to the aa and ask the guy at the checkout. he tells me that the manager isnt there yet and to come backa little bit before 5.
i do that. i end up waiting forever the checkout guy(matt) tells me that the manager is caught up with a regional manager. so i wait up somemore..
iget a call from my love. we talk for a while and the manager shows up, i saw him waiting.
he wasnt waiting for me he was waiting for a replacment for the guy thats sopposed to interview me with him.
so yeah i got off the cell my love wishes me luck and i go over to the AA
yeah me and him wait aorund for the replacment, we talk a bit about azn shit..
so yeah the replacment gets here and the manager and Matt interview me.
it was pretty long i dont know how long i was being interviewed but i know i was done with it by 5.55. the manager was really preachey and explained stuff alotm like a usual asian would do. and the matt kid was very awkward and shaky, i felt bad for the kid i was more relaxed than him.
when all was said and done, the manager said hed call me the next day or friday. he called the next day..
he called around 11.30am.. yeah woke my lazy ass up.
i got up around 12 and got out of the shower around 12.20 i got bitched at and fixed it i guess.. and i was off.
oh yeah the manager told me to get a zerox copy of my driver's and sss card. i did and iwas off. haha
the mall i got there around 1pm.
when igot there i said hi and stuff the manager thought iwas early or whatever, i dunno.
i gave him my stuff but.. my ss card said that im not vaild for employment. so that caused some unwanted work.. he said i could still fill out all the legal shit.
he told me that i had to get a green card or some kind of proof that i could work legally here.
i had to go home and get my cirtificate of citizenship.
after i filled out all the papers and what not i went to jessi's untill my dad came home.i went home and picked up my CC and brought it to the mall. i got there around 5.
the manager told me go to the mall office and get my CC zeroxed even tho it says its illegal on it but i still did it. the lady in the office was UUber nice.once that was done i headed for the AA and gave it to him. and it was offical.
